BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: 40 acres of farm and woodland in Roswell, GA emphasizing environmental responsibility, personal improvement and non-competitive achievement for children 4-13. Since 1973, we have provided outstanding traditional outdoor experiences, enriching lives in a caring, nurturing, child-centered setting. Limited transportation is available.
SPECIAL NEEDS CAMPERS: We welcome communication with campers with special needs in order to assess how our program may be of mutual benefit. We have a strong program of inclusion and focus on a successful, enriching, and fun camp experience for ALL campers.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Wilderness/Nature, Waterfront/Aquatics, Horses/Equestrian, Fine Arts/Crafts, Dance, Theater, Video/Filmmaking/Photography, Swimming, Soccer, Team Sports, and more. Pony Rides, Archery, Woodworking, Canoeing, Arts & Crafts, Swimming, Drama, Nature, Ropes, Animal Care, Dance, & Sports Are Among The Activities We Offer, Led By Dedicated, Enthusiastic, & Exemplary Staff Members.
CAMP LOCATION: 40 acres of farm and forest in Roswell, GA, just north of Atlanta.
CAMP FACILITIES: Fields and forest for exploration, sports, and fun. high and low ropes course, swimming pool, archery ranges, classrooms and cabins, farm animals, gaga pit, tipi, and more unique, engaging camp facilities.

Established in 1973 on 40 acres of farm and forest in Roswell, High Meadows offers campers a structured recreational program focusing on self improvement, personal responsibility, and environmental respect. In a relaxed, caring, and non-competitive atmosphere, each camper is encouraged to engage in new experiences and social relationships. Each day, we welcome 300 children, from age 4 to 15, to our campus. Bus transportation is available from various locations in the north metro area. Groups are arranged by grade level, and generally have 12 - 15 children with two counselors.
Activities, offered at age-appropriate levels, may include Animal Care, Arts & Crafts, Archery, Swimming, Sports, Canoeing, Traditions, Darkroom Photography, Pony Rides, Ropes, Dance, Drama, Nature, Pioneering, and Woodworking.
Preschoolers participate in a shortened day program with constant nurturing supervision and exploration of our property and activities.
Our oldest campers, rising 5th - 9th graders, exercise responsibility and decision making in developing and following their own class schedule, and by participating in our Knighthood program, which encourages high-level achievement and recognition in each of our activities. High Meadows offers a unique, traditional, outdoor program, with well-established traditions and an exemplary staff. Our summer fun goes hand-in-hand with learning, achievement, and enrichment.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Counselor-In-Training leadership program for rising 10th graders who have attended High Meadows Camp or School.

CAMP SESSION DATES & FEES:
Three, 3-week sessions
$1200 per 3-week session, full day M-F, 9:15am - 4pm, rising K - rising 9th grade
$930 per 3-week session, half day M-F, 9:45am - 1:45pm, preK - rising K
Session 1: June 1 - June 19
Session 2: June 22 - July 10 (no camp July 3rd)
Session 3: July 13 - July 31
