CAMP FACILITIES: We meet at the park each day under a canopy at long tables, and on the ground. We play a "cool down" game each day.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our philosophy is that kids should play hard, learn fun, run, laugh and go home grubby. A family-owned operation, we have six kids of our own and have created THE summer program we've searched for for them.degrees in humanities, CPR certification and background checks ensure that those we entrust your and our kids to are passionate about, devoted to and skilled in sharing our programs, nature's wonder and learning with our little "grubbers."
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Current Special: register a child for ANY session at the regular price of $195, and register that child a sibling in ANY session for $75. Good for as many sessions as you register for, as long as there are openings.

BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Y Camp at Horsethief Reservoir is dedicated to helping children grow and build self esteem while living by our four core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. Campers make friends and have great role models while having the experience of a life time.

CAMP LOCATION: We are located about 8 miles east of Cascade Idaho on 410 acres of beautiful mountain wilderness. With our waterfront along Horsethief Reservoir, Archery range and one of a kind Climbing tower we have many activities to choose from. With good nutritious food to eat and options at every meal.

CAMP FACILITIES: We currently maintain ten Cabins five heated Yurts and four Platform tents. All cabins are weatherized and have indoor bathrooms and showers. Our Yurts are conveniently located close to a modern shower house and bathroom. The platform tents are short walk to restroom facilities. We serve our meals in the majestic Triple J lodge. With alternate meeting sites available as well.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our camp has a strong belief in developing our staff as well as our campers. We live by our core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
We are ACA accredited and make the safety of our campers and staff our highest priority.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): We Offer family camp for all those families that wish to experience camp together as a family. Activities are scheduled with family time as a priority.
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Currently Y Camp is a three season camp offering summer camp programs along with Retreats and Conferences in the spring and fall. Outdoor Education is also offered for schools or groups looking to enhanse their knowledge of nature.

CAMP FACILITIES: Alpengirl campers sleep in 3-4 person backpacking style tents, we practice outdoor living, cooking, and leave no trace skills. A majority of our campsites have bathroom and running water and are located in gorgeous wilderness settings in mountains, next to fresh water streams, at by pristine lakes.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Alpengirl Camp is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA) and has a staff to camper ratio of 1:4 or 1:6. Our camp is highly supervised with small groups of 12 girls led by 2-3 adult female role model Alpenguides. Alpenguides average age is 26 and all have certifications in Wilderness First Aid and CPR.

OTHER CAMP INFO: Alpengirl is a multi-adventure camp, we offer a variety of adventure activities in each session. Campers are involved in all aspects of camp life including acting as leader of the day, setting up tents, cooking on camp stoves, following hiking maps, leading fun activities with the group and being part of a close-knit team.

CAMP FACILITIES: We have a retreat center that has 34 beds total best for smaller retreats and family camps. Our main lodge is our dinning room and kitchen down stairs as well as four 10 bed rooms, one 6 bed room, one 8 bed room, and two bathroom upstairs. we have a total of five 6 bed cabins, one 20 bed cabin, one 8 bed cabin, and one 3 bed cabin. Our office also has 3 rooms for our speakers, cook, and camp pastors/their family. Our chapel hold 100 people. we also have a large playing field as well as playground.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our camp program is counselor based in that everything we offer can be initiated by our counselors so that relationships can be built towards campers. we provide activity classed for our youth camps and elective free time actives as well. from volleyball, basketball, disc golf, slip-n-slide, and our nature center with live animals we have something for everyone to enjoy.

CAMP FACILITIES: Camp sessions are held at Wolf Springs Ranch in the heart of the Benewah Valley...horsemanship sessions are held in the arena, outdoor activities are throughout the ranch and arts & crafts activities are held in the studio area in a 100 year-old log cabin.
Additionally, campers have time to play in Alder Creek, learn about a working cattle ranch and spend time with a variety of farm animals.

Our Story... it all began in the spring of 2011 when I decided to share my love of horses and the magic they bring into my everyday life. Girls and Horses started as a once-a-week, two-hour program and has evolved into a week-long day camp that includes not only horses, but crafts, games, nature, etiquette and much more. In 2013 we introduced a "Ranch Wranglers" program for boys and in October 2015 we will offer a "Women Warriors" program to allow women veterans the opportunity to experience the magic of horses and a taste of ranch life that will aid in their healing process.

CAMP FACILITIES: All trips begin at a designated airport. Students explore the most scenic and beautiful places in a particular region, and travel between activity sites in brand-new, 15-passenger vans. We spend each night in a tent, and students learn how to cook in the backcountry—with plenty of guidance from our instructors! They go backpacking, camping, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, whitewater kayaking, ziplining, ice climbing, canoeing, sea kayaking, inflatable kayaking, mountaineering, and mountain biking.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Physical and emotional safety is our top priority.
Fun and exciting outdoor activities help teens grow and gain life skills and a greater sense of self. Our exceptional instructor role models take a sincere interest in the growth and development of young people.
