Many of our Kansas Wilderness Camps offer Spring Wilderness Programs, Activities, Workshops & Classes starting in April, 2024.
Be sure to check the "Year-Round Programs and Other Camp Info" headings of each camp listing for specifics, or give any Wilderness Camp you're interested in a call to check on Spring dates, times and availability.
Many of our Wilderness Camps will be hosting Spring Reunions for their previous campers, and Spring Open Houses for interested new campers and families. Each camp is different, and some offer activities for the entire family.

BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Camp Chippewa is an exciting weekly summer camp program whose goal is for every camper to have a positive experience with a horse in God's creation. Campers, ages 5-18, get to spend the week swimming, crafting, shooting arrows, playing games, pedaling, fishing, canoeing, and so much more all while learning about their relationship with God.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Wilderness/Nature, Waterfront/Aquatics, Adventure, Horses/Equestrian, Swimming, Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, Football, Team Sports, and more. Gaga Ball, Hiking, Pedal Carts, & Archery.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): We have a one-night, 2 day experience for families with kids in K-5th grade. They will get to experience most of our activities, including the horses, to get a feeling of what overnight summer camp is like.
CAMP SESSION DATES & FEES:
Our main horse camp is called Boots 'N' Bible. Campers will spend the majority of their time at the barn working on their horse skills.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:

Some Top Kansas Wilderness Camps offer rigorous daily wilderness training and lots of intensive wilderness experience. Other great Kansas Camps offer wilderness and nature studies as an elective or recreational activity with much less training and intensity.
